This brief, we worked in a team of six to create designs for MTNS MADE. Breaking off into a sub-group with Geoffrey and Zofia, we worked on re-designing the website, which is one of the deliverables for the client. The client wanted the website to have a more earthy look and feel to match the vibes of the blue mountains in which they are currently situated.
To make it easier, we formulated a style guide for the team to follow and then allocated specific pages that we would re-design. My allocated pages were the about, contacts, login, and jobs pages. For the homepage, all 3 team members worked on it together, as the client favoured one homepage but liked elements from the other homepages.

THE CHALLENGE
Finding a creative in the Blue Mountains has never been easier.
The user experience of the website is poor from the point of view of a creative who wanted to be profiled on the website. As well as from the perspective of a person wanting to find creative services. The categorisation of the creative fields is very broad and makes it difficult to navigate and user could not find what they were looking for.
NOTE: This was an assessment for university but we worked with a real client mimicking what a design studio would be like.
THE PROCESS
Low-fidelity wireframes were drawn along with inspiration to help explain our thought process behind each design.
MY ROLE
SECOND DELIVERABLE
MTNS MADE requested a map that would be placed in information centres, helping tourists navigate through the blue mountains. I worked alongside Dinusha and Christian to bring this map to life. Dinusha worked on the theoretical component, gathering the blue mountain locations and pin-pointing the locations on the map, which I created in Illustrator. Additionally, I illustrated icons for the map to help differentiate the sections in the blue mountains.
